Time really does fly. It felt like it was just a while ago when Technics introduced its first true wireless earbuds, but already, the brand has introduced two new models, namely, Technics EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40. Last year’s EAH-AZ70W already has a lot going in it. But the EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40 are going to top that.

Starting with JustMyVoice Technology that uses the mics and software to detect voices when speaking, while a pair of MEMS mics actively capture the sound and reduced surrounding noise with beamforming technology to result in a clear call, even in a noisy environment.

With working from home becoming a norm, Technics want these two pairs of TWS earbuds to get it through the workday, be it for music or video conferencing, and after all that, hit the gym with it too. In short, Technics EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40 will have both works and play, and anything in between covered.

Both models also further boast two ambient sound modes, namely, “Natural” and “Attention”, and offers users control over how much background noise they can hear. Natural mode captures all surrounding noise while Attention Model on captures sounds in the human voice frequency range.

Key highlights include 8 mm driver (EAH-AZ60) and 6 mm dynamic driver (EAH-AZ40), acoustic control chamber and harmonizer, eight microphones (EAH-AZ60) or 6 microphones (EAH-AZ40), Bluetooth 5.2, supports for LDAC technology (only on EAH-AZ60), IPX4 water resistance, wind noise reduction, and Technics’ Dual Hybrid Noise Canceling Technology (only on EAH-AZ60).

Unfortunately, wireless charging is not in order.

Both the Technics EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40 TWS Earbuds will go on sale on Amazon in October 2021 with the EAH-AZ40 having an SRP of US$129.99 US$149.99 and the EAH-AZ60, for US$199.99 US$229.99.
