What you see here is a limited-edition collaboration model Red Bull BC One DJ turntable, SL-1200/1210MK7R, from Technics. The Technics Red Bull BC One Limited Edition is designed as a homage to all break-dancers of Red Bull BC One competition.
This special edition turntable is essentially the SL-1200, but spruced up with the unmistakable Red Bull BC One image. Special design features include Red Bull BC One Logo on top of chassis, Red head-shell paired to a yellow gold S-shaped tonearm and Red Bull BC One slip mat.
As for the hardware, it has a cordless direct drive motor design for increase accuracy while eliminating clogging issues and dual layer platter that reduces resonance and vibrations.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned classic aluminum S-shaped tonearm offers the classic sonic fidelity. It further boasts an aluminum die-cast chassis that is rigidly integrated with a special material consisting of ABS mixed with glass fiber that boosts the turntable’s rigidity and increases its vibration-damping performance to higher levels.
Other notables include detachable power/phono cable terminals, gold-plated phono terminals, starting torque/brake speed adjustment function, pitch control function for accurate and stable pitch adjustment, three rotation speed (33-1/3, 45 or 78 RPM), reverse play function, and stylus illuminator featuring a high-brightness and long-life white LED.
