The Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD32M’s size is puny compared to the Samsung 55-inch Odyssey Ark but a 31.5” screen maybe still a bit much for some and so, here’s a smaller but still equally sleek version: the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD27S Gaming Monitor.
As the product name suggests, Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD27S Gaming Monitor is a 27-inch (68.6 cm) display and it also has a design inspired by the elements of Porsche sports cars.
The DisplayHDR 400 certified designer monitor boasts 3-sided frameless IPS display with QHD resolution and LightFX aka RGB light for an “intense experience and the feeling of immersion” when gaming.
The 165 Hz refresh rate has been overclocked to 170 Hz and offers a wide color space of 95% DCI-P3, 99% sRGB, a response time of 1 ms (GTG), and Adaptive Sync.
The display further boasts two 5W speakers built-in – on either side behind a metal mesh modeled after the air intakes of a car and is DTS Sound-certified, and packs quite a number of I/Os, including 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 2 DisplayPort, 4 USB 3.2 ports, a headphone jack, and a microphone jack.
Rounding up the design is an adjustable stand inspired by Porsche steering wheels which is probably the star feature, IMHO. It is worth noting that it does not have the fancy Porsche Design logo projection like its larger sibling.
If anyone’s down, the Porsche Design AOC Agon Pro PD27S Gaming Monitor will be available starting September 30, 2022, at 7 AM, for US$530. Meanwhile, it can be pre-ordered now.
