We are not sure if the Symlis Sparrow OTG Flash Drive and Charging Cable combo is the world’s first flash drive that charges and syncs your smartphone as its creator claims, but it is certainly something we have not seen before. Do correct us if we were wrong. Anyways, the product is what it says it is: an uber sleek accessory that you can use to store files like any regular USB flash drive and also charges and/or sync your smartphone when the need arise. A pretty sensible creation, I must say, because both features are considered indispensable today. Best of all, it supports USB OTG, allowing compatible devices to access the files, such as movies, music and documents, stored on the USB flash drive for on-the-go entertainment and work purposes. Most importantly, it looks pretty cool and can be looped to your keychain for easy carry and access.
In its standard form, the Symlis Sparrow OTG Flash Drive and Charging Cable plays well with most Android devices such as those from Acer, Asus, Fujitsu, Huawei, HTC, just to name a few. And apparently it works with Blackberry too. Apple’s devices are not excluded, but it will need an optional Apple MFI-certified Lightning adapter to get things going. As with all fixed funding campaign, the fate of this product lies in your hand.
