The Super7 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ULTIMATES! Party Wagon looks sweet but it costs an arm or a leg in the toy’s context. Plus, it is not quite cartoon-accurate. The comic look may not appeal to all fans. That said, if you are in the market one that costs half the price and is cartoon-accurate, well then the unofficial version by Underground Arsenal may be a good alternative.
UA’s version is a 1/12 scale vehicle called “Turtle Shell 01” that will accommodate 6-inch TMNT action figures with quite some room to spare. The interior is so spacious that it reminded me of the inaccurate cartoon drawings that almost always made the interior larger than it looked from the outside.
Other features of this unsanctioned turtle superheroes’ ride include movable doors with magnetic closure, transparent windows, a storage fort, removable weapons, rolling wheels, and light-up LED headlights.
The unofficial Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles van by Underground Arsenal is slated to release in Q1 2022 and it has an associated sticker of around US$280. Interested collectors may pick up the toy as a pre-order from Show.Z Store.
