Laundry Jet Vacuum Powered Laundry Chute

If you live in a multi-story house with a big family, then you will know that gathering laundry for laundry day is a chore itself. That is why laundry chute exists. It allows everyone to drop their dirty laundry straight down to the laundry room in the basement. It couldn’t be more convenient, well, that’s until Laundry Jet comes along.

Unlike traditional laundry chute which has a single point of drop, Laundry Jet has multiple drop points, or should we say suck points because it is a vacuum-powered system.

Using a powerful vacuum, it sucks dirty laundry, bed sheets, and whatnot fed through open ports installed in the various rooms, through a series of piping straight to the laundry room.

Depending on which one of the two models you choose, you may install between 4 and 8 ports. Speaking of ports, there are two types to choose from: an iSense Port that offers hands-free that auto open and close, and a sliding port which you slide open manually.

Whichever type of port you choose, the system is only activated when the port is opened and automatically switches off when the port closes.

Unfortunately, this is as far as the convenience goes; it will not help you do the laundry. Laundry Jet only helps make the gathering of laundry that needed to be washed.

But it does have a Return Unit which you can add on to say, a bedroom, closet, or any room, where you want the clean laundry to be returned. But again, that’s about as far as the system will help you do. Folding and distributing the cleaned laundry are still manual chores.
