I am not sure if a consumer-grade laser engraver will be used as often as, say, a printer for example But regardless of my assumption, here it is, a consumer-grade laser engraver money can buy for those who might be interested.
Called Wainlux K6 Laser Engraver, it is a compact, portable laser engraver outfitted with a powerful 3000 mW laser that could engrave on almost any surface. Speaking of surface, it can be used to engrave on wood, leather products, cardboard, and even so desire, desserts like macaroon.
I can’t help but to think how many times will a regular person would engrave design on stuff? It might be a novelty thing. Like it will wear off after a couple of months. If you know what I mean… But hey, who am I to say it may be so?
I’d say it is a hobbyist thing. But if you have a small business that sells physical products, the Wainlux K6 Laser Engraver could come in handy for customizing the products for your customers.
And why wouldn’t you? Especially when this machine is actually very affordable at 1,232.00 HKD and up (or about US$159 and up).
If you are sold by the idea like some 3,000 people did, you may want to consider pledging for a product on Kickstarter.
The campaign is funded at this point and so, a pledge for a product is a pre-order which Wainlux aims to fulfilled sometime in September 2020. FYI, at the time of this post, the campaign has rolled in over half a million in funding.
