Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its most powerful SLK of all time – the SLK 55 AMG. this particular looker is fitted with a newly developed AMG 5.5-liter naturally-aspirated V8 power plant (M152) that features a couple of ‘green’ features such as start/stop engine function and direct injection that put a lesser guilt on you when you floor the accelerator. the engine puts out a breathtaking 422-horsepower (310-kW) with 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, and combined with the AMG SpeedShift Plus 7G-TRONIC, propels the car from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6-seconds and on its way to reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
