Mercedes-AMG Project ONE Is Basically A Formula 1 Car In A Road Car Shell

Some people aspired to be a Formula One race car driver for, you know, the fame and fortune, but if you really love cars, like cars that are as powerful as the hybrid technology offered by today’s Formula 1 race car, the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is probably the closest anyone will ever get. The obvious pro of this ride is, it looks like a perfectly normal car that assimilate easily with the rest of the traffic. Never mind the exotic and the obvious, million dollar look. At least, you won’t look out of place or get overlooked by big rigs when you are on the road and also, you can at least bring a friend with you unlike a real Formula 1 race car. Mercedes-AMG And Cigarette Racing’s Latest Collaboration Has 1,100HP

Another year, another collaboration between luxury performance car tuner Mercedes-AMG and performance boat maker Cigarette Racing Team. Unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show over the weekend, the Cigarette Racing Team 41’ SD GT3 is inspired by Mercedes-AMG GT3 race car and is touted as the “most power ‘open performance’ boat to ever come out of Cigarette Racing Team’s yard. As before, this water-going GT3 borrows several elements from the land-going GT3, including colorway, design, and fittings. Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake Unveiled, Includes a 360HP AMG Variant

Mercedes-Benz has finally pull the wraps off the new CLA Shooting Brake. Despite the new found station wagon body, its four-door coupe form is still very much alive, which means fans who adore the sporty lines of the CLA won’t be disappointed here. Being of a five-door configuration, it also means the CLA Shooting Brake gets a significantly roomier interior, starting with a 94.7cm headroom at the rear – a bump of 4cm from its four-door coupe variant. In addition to that, ease of ingress and egress has also improved, while the cargo area now offers a capacity that ranges from 495 to 1354 liters. The rear seats can also be adjusted to a more “steeply raked ‘cargo’ position to increase the cargo capacity to 595 liters, while still offering seating space for five. so you think the S-Class Coupe‘s 455 horses not brutal enough? well, that’s what the pointed star marque thought too and that’s why there is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe to quench your thirst for power and torque, and most importantly, the need for speed – all in the same renowned trim you come to expect from a Mercedes-Benz AMG. neatly tucked under the hood is a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine tuned to unleash 585 hp (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of metal-twisting torque, mated to an obligatory AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission that capable of launching this near two-ton (4,400 lbs) beast from naught to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in mere 4.3s, or 3.9s if you were to opt for the left-hand drive-only 4MATIC model, and sending it on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). doing all so while consuming just 10.3 liter per 100 km of gas (or about 22.8 MPG). Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept Boat

another year, another collaboration concept boat from Cigarette Racing and Mercedes-AMG but this time, there is another party involved, and that’s Polyphony Digital, the creating studio of the legendary racing game franchise, Gran Turismo. this fourth collaboration boat, dubbed the Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept Boat, draws its design inspiration from the virtual-turn-reality Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo which itself was featured in the latest installment of the Gran Turismo 6. the Cigarette Racing 50′ Vision GT Concept Boat is presented as a one-of-a-kind special model and also the most powerful production twin engine performance boat to ever came out of Cigarette Racing’s dock. this beautiful example, which is some 1000 lbs lighter than the standard spec counterpart, is pushed by twin 1,650 hp Mercury Racing engines to achieve a top speed of 140 mph (225 km/h). Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition

looks like the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG won’t be too lonely at the upcoming 43rd Tokyo Motor Show later this week – its gull-wing sibling, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition will also be strutting its stuff there too and as the name implies, this particular SLS AMG GT will also mark the end of the era for this series. limited to just 350 units, this super sports car from the pointed star marque is powered by an AMG 6.3-liter V8 engine, mounted in front-mid configuration, turns up 591 horses (435 kW). powerful and celebrated as the engine is, nothing more iconic and legendary then the SLS AMG’s gull-wing doors which set itself apart from many cars of its time. first introduced back in 2009, the SLS AMG has established itself as the de facto icon of the Mercedes-Benz brand and through out the years, it has see a variety of variant including everyone’s favorite gull-wing model, roadster, GT, the Black Series, as well as the electric drive. what’s fast, uber luxurious, and still family and friends-friendly? for today, we are going to go with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG even if it is not blindingly fast as a supercar, cos’ it is after all a four-seater with all the luxe appointment you can expect from the German pointed star marque. its AMG 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine is rated at 630 hp (463 kW) with a mind-bending peak torque of 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft), delivered to the rear wheels via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC. put the pedal to the metal and this luxe beast readily rockets from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.3 seconds and on its way to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). raw power aside, it promised to be light on the environment as much as a gasoline motor can achieve; it sips 11.9L per 100 km (NEDC, combined; about 19.8 mpg) and puff out 279 g/km of CO2 emissions in compliance to the strict EU 6 exhaust emissions standard. sure. the 2014 S-Class has a whole lot of luxury and power to go with it, but if more is what you seek from this piece of jewel from the German luxe automaker, then 2014 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG is the ride of choice. powered by a hand-assembled AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo unit producing 585 horsepower (430 kW) and whole 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, the S 63 is paired to a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports gearbox and together with a lighter construction (contributed in every aspect possible), it makes the century sprint in just 4.4 seconds (4 seconds on the 4MATIC model), while being a tad more fuel economical than its predecessor. Mercedes has really gone all the way out to trim off some fats and it include efforts like an all-aluminum outer skin, AMG high-performance composite brake system, 19″ AMG forged light-alloy wheels, lightweight lithium battery and even the spare wheel recess isn’t spared: it is now form from carbon fiber. there are many ways to dump your excess millions and one of most worthy would be acquiring an exotic ride such as this Pagani Zonda Revolucion Supercar. by now, if the mere mention of Pagani doesn’t ring the exotic bell, we really don’t what will. still powered by the AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 like the Huayra, but now wringing out a cool 800 horses, accompanied by 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) pure metal twirling torque – pushed out through a six-speed sequential gearbox that does gears swapping in mere 20 milliseconds. with that kind of output, the formality of performance figures can be dispensed with, but one thing is for sure: it sure needs a hell’lot of stopping power to haul this exotic beast to a stop and hence, F1-derived carbon ceramic brake discs are incorporated into its Brembo braking system to get the job done.
