Pizza Hut Cheeseburger Melt “Burger” U.S.

Traditionally, a burger consists of a bun, and a meat patty, along with some toppings like pickles and tomatoes. That said, would you consider a burger a burger if it does not have buns? Probably not. But Pizza Hut does not care. It wants to challenge the convention by offering a burger which is really just melts.

Billed as “a better way to burger”, the Cheeseburger Melt looks suspiciously like a folded slice of pizza. And you know what? It is. It is a parmesan-crusted thin crust Melt folded and loaded with beef, applewood-smoked bacon, onions, mozzarella, and cheddar, served with Burger Sauce on the side. So, is it a burger? It’s controversial. I guess you could call it a sandwich. Details:

“Perfect for any lunch or dinner meal occasion, each order of Melts features two slices of Pizza Hut’s signature Thin N’ Crispy® crust loaded with an abundance of toppings and cheese, folded over, baked to melty perfection and complemented with a dipping sauce that pairs perfectly with the individual-sized meal and a PEPSI®.”

The Pizza Huts’ Cheeseburger Melt is available for a limited time at participating locations and is part of the My Hut Box offer which starts at US$6.99.
