Nissan is celebrating 55 years of Z history with a special Nissan Z Heritage Edition. The 2024 Nissan Z Heritage Edition is launched in limited quantity and boasts exclusive design elements that pay homage to the S30-generation Datsun 240Z that was unveiled 55 years ago in 1969.
The 2024 Nissan Z Heritage Edition is based on the Z Performance and comes coated in the iconic orange—known as New Sight Orange—available on the original S30. It is offered in either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission.
This limited, celebratory edition Z has a new front fascia with more rectangular grille openings, 19-inch alloy wheels, and fender extensions at each corner—all harkening back to the look of the iconic 240Z.
Rounding up the original Z influence are a black hood decal, bodyside decals, and exclusive Edition decals around the Z emblems aft of the quarter windows.
The homage is limited to cosmetics, however; under the hood, it remains the same as the Z Performance which it is based on. This means a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that develops 400 horsepower, and key features like a mechanical limited-slip differential, Nissan Performance brakes with red calipers, and more.
The 2024 Nissan Z Heritage Edition is set to go on sale this Summer in the US with a starting price of US$59,135.
