Let’s be honest. A 1/6th collectible figure of Alita just isn’t big enough to show off the awesomeness of the cyborg hero. While a life-size bust could probably do the cyborg justice, nothing will beat a 1:1 replica of Alita. Even better is a 1:1 Alita in her “doll body” dressed in casual clothing as seen in most parts of the movie – which is exactly what the Alita: Battle Angel “Doll Body” 1/1 Statue by Queen Studios is.
Part of the Master Series line, the Alita: Battle Angel “Doll Body” 1/1 Statue, which is crafted from resin, platinum silicone, real fabric, and rooted hair, stands 168 cm (5’ 6.14”) with a simple but elegant base. That’s the Standard Edition.
The Deluxe Edition, meanwhile, towers at 182 cm (5’ 11.65”) tall and boasts a complex movie-inspired base. Apparently, James Cameron, producer of the 2019 live-action Gunnm, had seen the real product images of the Alita: Battle Angel “Doll Body” 1/1 Statue he wanted one too. This means that out of edition 99, there are only 98 statues remaining to go around.
The Alita: Battle Angel “Doll Body” 1/1 Statue is slated to be released in Q1 2023, with the Standard Edition commanding 68,880 yuan (roughly US$9,825) and the Deluxe Edition, a very hefty 88,880 yuan (around US$12,678!).
Not to worry if that’s beyond your budget or if you do not have space for a human-size collectible because there’s a 1/4 scale version that promised the same level of details.
The Alita: Battle Angel “Doll Body” 1/4 Statue features resin and PU construction and it is dressed in real fabric. However, it does not appear to have rooted hair. The 1/4 version also comes with a base and stands 47 cm (18.5 inches) tall.
Nothing has been sacrificed when shrinking Alita down to a quarter scale. Her porcelain “doll body” also boasts the same amount of intricate patterns and clockwork.
The Alita: Battle Angel “Doll Body” 1/4 Statue has an edition number of 599 worldwide, and it will arrive sooner, sometime in Q4 2022, for a more wallet-friendly 4,588 yuan (approximately US$655).
Over in the China market, there’s also a 1:1 scale replica of Alita’s porcelain arm too. The Alita 1:1 “Doll Body” Mechanical Arm will also be released in Q4 2022, limited to just 300 copies worldwide. The asking price is 4,980 yuan [CH] or about US$711, based on today’s going rate.
