Star Wars Day is almost upon us but before that, there’s the much anticipated Star Wars Celebration 2023 which will take place across the pond, in London, from April 7 to 10, 2023. With the celebration comes the reveal of the new Star Wars: The Black Series and Vintage Collection reveals, plus, you guessed it, an exclusive figure. This year’s exclusive collectible is the Hasbro Star Wars The Black Series Revenge Of The Jedi Darth Vader Action Figure.

It makes sense to pick ROTJ since it is also the film’s 40 anniversary. However, the figure was based on the poster before the name change and hence, Star Wars: Revenge of the Jedi. The poster depicts a lightsaber combat between Luke and Lord Vader against the backdrop of a red-cast headshot of Darth Vader.

This premium 6-inch Darth Vader figure takes on the color palette of the original poster and includes a hidden, displayable Revenge of the Jedi mini-poster. The figure will come with the Sith Lord’s red-blade lightsaber. From the official product images, it appears to also include a lightsaber hilt. It is not clear if it is a separate hilt or if the red blade is removable.

Anyhoo, a red-draped Vader is not for everyone but it is definitely a must-have for super fans of the original Star Wars trilogy and die-hard fans of the one true Sith Lord.
