Casio’s aviation-inspired series, GRAVITYMASTER, is now joined by three new models: GRB300-1A, GRB300-1A4, and GRB300-8A2. Drawing inspiration from next-gen aircraft, these watches blend durability and cutting-edge design, featuring a Carbon Core Guard structure that leverages carbon materials found in aircraft.
The Casio G-Shock GRAVITYMASTER GRB300, as it is called, has a seamless exterior from case to band and features a high-contrast black and white color palette—inspired by an aircraft cockpit—designed to optimize the visibility of its hands and index marks. But that’s the GRB300-1A.
The GRB300-1A4 and GRB300-8A2, on the other hand, are red-highlighted and blue-highlighted models. The former reflects the nighttime illumination of a cockpit instrument panel while the latter is inspired by the fighter jet’s head-up display (HUD).
The large, triple-layer dial features oversized index marks, inset dials inspired by aircraft instrument panels, and a rotary disc for solar charge level and alarm status. Rounding up the design feature list is a metal bezel.
The aviation inspiration is not limited to design; it has aviation-related functions too. It has a dual time function where the main dial offers the home time while the inset dial provides the 2nd time zone. This dual-time feature should come in handy for travelers and pilots alike. You can set the world time and easily swap home city time and 2nd-time zone with the Casio Watches app.
Then there is the flight log function that allows various data such as current time and position obtained by the watch to be recorded on a map within the app.
Beyond the aviation-inspired aesthetics and aviation-focused functions, the Casio G-Shock GRAVITYMASTER GRB300 is the G-Shock you know and love with features like shock-resistant structure, 200-meter water resistance, Tough Solar Power, Smartphone Link, dual time, stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm, Super Illuminator, and date display, and day indicator.
