Yoshino Solid-State Portable Power Stations

In our battery-reliant world, more efficient and safer batteries are essential. Well, you know what? Solid-state batteries are making that dream a reality. These innovative batteries, found in a few products, are changing the game. One of the first devices to use this new tech is the Yoshino Solid-State Portable Power Station.

For those new to the concept, solid-state batteries use solid electrolytes instead of liquid ones. This change offers higher energy density, improved safety, and a longer lifespan compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. Thanks to their stable solid electrolytes, they’re less likely to catch fire or explode, making them a safer option for powering our devices.

Anyways, the Yoshino Solid-State Portable Power Stations range from camping-friendly Yoshino B330 SST to the monstrous Yoshino B4000 SST that can supply power to power tools on remote worksites and offers a whole-house backup in the event of an outage. Depending on the model, the battery capacity ranges from 241 Wh to 2,611 Wh, with output from 330 W to a whopping 4,000 W and AC charging from 100-1,800 W.

I think one of the coolest parts is that the Yoshino Solid-State Portable Power Stations can be recharged in multiple ways. You can recharge it using solar panels, via the USB-C power delivery port, or DC input. OK. Maybe that’s not the coolest feature. The coolest feature should be that it can be recharged by two methods simultaneously to achieve faster recharging.
