Takara Tomy Tomica No. 41 Tesla Cybertruck

I think the world’s done roasting the Tesla Cybertruck, but that doesn’t make it any less polarizing—or desirable to some. Sadly, it’s not available everywhere, and where it is, the price is steep. So for those who want one but can’t have it, the next best thing is a collectible—like this: the Takara Tomy Tomica No. 41 Tesla Cybertruck.

I know, right? Tomica has finally done it.

It’s not the first small-scale Cybertruck, though. Hot Wheels once peddled a 1:64 RC version. But I don’t believe there were others in this tiny scale.

Part of the Tomica Premium Collection, the new Tesla Cybertruck is a 1:75 scale replica of the controversial electric truck launched in 2019. We appreciate how Tomica has recreated the iconic wheels—and that it has working suspension, too.

Strangely, though, we couldn’t find it listed on the Takara Tomy website. It was revealed by Tomica Asia instead, and seemingly in the spirit of its real-life counterpart, it’s not sold in every country.

But this being the age of the Internet and e-commerce, it’s not hard to find. You can spot it on Discovery Japan, Plaza Japan, 1999.co.jp, and more. It has a listed price of 1,048 yen, which is around US$7.10—but depending on the merchant, the price may vary.
