Secretlab first entered the desk arena in 2021 with the original Magnus—a magnetic cable-management wonder that instantly made every other desk look messy. Then came the Magnus Pro, a sit-to-stand powerhouse that was equal parts furniture and spaceship console. But all that innovation came at a premium.

Now, the Singapore-based brand is giving mortals a chance to experience the same level of engineering with the new Secretlab Magnus Evo. It’s basically the Magnus Pro that’s been to finishing school—polished, practical, and a little less intimidating on your wallet.
The Magnus Evo inherits all the good stuff that made the Pro great: a fully integrated power supply column, full-length magnetic cable tray, and dedicated magnetic zones along the edges for snapping on accessories like cable sheaths, anchors, and headphone hangers. It even opens at a perfect 30-degree angle, which sounds oddly specific until you realize how satisfying it is to access your cables without them performing an escape act.
The desktop features a hybrid two-tone design, combining a soft-touch ultra-matte surface with a reinforced metal rear edge—perfect for monitor arms, mounts, and the occasional desk-slam when your team loses. The motorized sit-to-stand function lets you dial in your height down to the millimeter, with three customizable presets and an integrated LED control panel so sleek it won’t get in the way of your chair’s armrests.
Like its big brother, it’s designed to play nice with the Secretlab modular accessory ecosystem, from monitor arms to under-desk PC mounts. Basically, it’s the desk equivalent of leveling up without selling your GPU.
The Secretlab Magnus Evo Sit-to-Stand Desk is available now, starting at US$749. A little less expensive, still wildly overengineered, and yes, it’ll make your old desk feel like a folding table.
