Takara Tomy Transformers Missing Link C-11 Delta Magnus

I am beginning to suspect Takara Tomy has an ambitious plan to bring back all G1 Transformers toys. Perhaps it is to fulfil the vision of making better versions of the G1 toys that the technology did not allow, and also to tickle the nostalgia in fans, so we would open up our wallets voluntarily. The latest to join the Missing Link line, the modern re-imagining of the original toys, is the Delta Magnus.

The Takara Tomy Transformers Missing Link C-11 Delta Magnus joins the growing list of other re-imagined G1 toys that already include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, Sunstreaker and Cordon, Arcee, Nemesis Prime, and Ultra Magnus. And yes, it is a redeco/recolor of the latter. But you gotta admit. It looks super cool.

It is definitely one reserved for completionists. Why? Well, it’s complicated. It did not exist as a G1 toy per se, but its existence is a homage to the Powered Convoy from the Diaclone lore in the early 1980s. That had a toy. However, it was, obviously, not called Delta Magnus. Didn’t I say it’s complicated, and it is the toy for the completionists.

Anyway, Delta Magnus is here now, and he is not shy about the premium treatment. Standing 262 mm tall (10.3 inches), he rolls out from robot mode into a truck with an attachable carrier that unfolds into a mobile operations base. That’s right—a traveling command center, so he can look busy even when sitting on your shelf.

And because Takara Tomy knows fans will obsess over every detail, this modern re-imagining comes bundled like a collector starter kit: spear launcher, Laser head, the Spear of Glory, belts, a human figure, stickers, character card, secret film, and a white Matrix of Leadership.

The carrier can even lug other Missing Link figures (sold separately, as usual), which guarantees further wallet-lightening later, like its non-related twin, Ultra Magnus. Delta isn’t alone as it returns in 2026; sidekick/drone unit Powerdrive, which converts to a buggy, is with the Leader of the Primal Vanguard, too.

Folks who are interested can pre-order this nostalgia-loaded toy from Hasbropulse.com and major toy retailers for US$194.99. It is set to ship on approximately October 01, 2026.

More looks after the break.
