For the longest time, Secretlab has been synonymous with gaming chairs, but today that changes. I mean, introducing a non-gaming chair—specifically, a task chair—will not change it into a furniture maker overnight, but you get what I mean. So yes, Secretlab wants to be a regular chair maker, too.

The Singapore-based gaming chair and desk maker has revealed the ATLAS, a sleek, ergonomic task chair. Built on the lessons learned from the Titan Evo gaming chair, it is no surprise that the new ATLAS does have the bucket seat silhouette. But thanks to actual ergonomics being involved, it has a lot more curves.
Four years in the making, the ATLAS is the company’s first dedicated ergonomic task chair that puts a new concept on the table: productivity. Hence, it is also referred to as a productivity task chair. ATLAS is designed around the idea that productivity comes from alternating between focus mode and rest mode, inspired by techniques such as Pomodoro.
The chair’s key feature is a synchronous tilt mechanism that allows users to move seamlessly between those two states. It reclines at a 2:1 ratio, helping you lean back and relax while keeping your feet planted on the floor. The tilt can be locked at four positions, while four levels of resistance adjustment let you tune the chair to your body weight and preference.
Elsewhere, the ATLAS introduces adjustable seat depth, a full-height recurved backrest, integrated lumbar support with a spring matrix system, and Secretlab’s signature medium-firm cold-cure foam. According to Secretlab, softer is not always better. The company believes a medium-firm seat provides better long-term support and reduces fatigue during extended sitting sessions.
If medium-firm is not your thing, there is also the Dune Plus model featuring the company’s new NanoFoam Composite. This combines a softer microfoam top layer with the cold-cure foam base for additional cushioning without sacrificing support.
The Secretlab ATLAS is available in nine upholstery and foam combinations, including SoftWeave Plus fabric and NanoHyde leatherette finishes. Pricing starts at US$499.
