BMW has teamed up with the Austrian design studio Vagabund once more to turn its vehicles into head-turning lifestyle machines. However, this time, it does not involve electric scooters. It is a pair of MINIs that have undergone the Vagabund transformation. Folks, meet the MINI x Vagabund Countryman One-Offs.

Based on the MINI Countryman S ALL4, these two one-off builds are essentially festival cars for people who think a Bluetooth speaker is not nearly excessive enough. One wears a light Melting Silver finish with sand-colored accents, while the other goes full stealth mode in Midnight Black. Together, they look like they belong at a music festival somewhere deep in the mountains.
The visual upgrades are extensive. Wider wheel arches, custom bumpers, raised suspension, and chunky 20-inch wheels give both vehicles a tougher stance. The wheels even feature 3D-printed covers inspired by loudspeaker cones, just in case the giant speakers elsewhere on the vehicle were not enough of a hint.
Speaking of speakers, that is where things get very interesting.
The rear side windows have been replaced by a purpose-built outdoor sound system. Tweeters and mid-range speakers are integrated directly into the bodywork, while subwoofers hidden in the rear come alive when the tailgate is opened. MINI says the speaker housings are made from cast polymer granite for cleaner sound reproduction. In other words, these MINIs are literally built to bring the party.
And because somebody at Vagabund clearly has excellent taste, there is also a Walkman tucked into a custom 3D-printed housing on the opposite side of the vehicle. Nothing says “music culture” quite like pairing a modern rolling sound stage with a cassette player.
The MINI x Vagabund Countryman One-Offs debuted at Auto China 2026, after which the pair heads out into the real world to do what they were built for: bringing people, music, and conversations together. You can learn more about these giant speakers on wheels here.
