Pickleball Paddle Godzilla Cyclone
Godzilla has appeared on plenty of collectibles, but now you can take him onto a pickleball court. Pickleball One’s Godzilla Cyclone carries the monster on both faces, with atomic-breath-inspired edges and a grip patterned after his skin. It is made to play, though I would be tempted to keep it pristine.

The pickleball fever is at an all-time high, and so is the Godzilla Minus One franchise, which will see its second film hit the big screen next month. So, it was only a matter of time before the two collided, and collide they did, thanks to a collaboration between Japanese sports and media company Pickleball One and Godzilla Minus One. Last month, Pickleball One announced a Godzilla paddle called Godzilla Cyclone.

And no, it isn’t simply a regular paddle with a Godzilla sticker slapped on. Different images of the monster occupy the two faces, while the edge gets a gradient inspired by his atomic breath. The grip takes its design cues from Godzilla’s skin, topped off with a “KING OF THE MONSTERS” grip band.

Even the included collector’s box gets the full treatment, with close-ups of Godzilla’s eyes on the outside and his mouth revealed inside. Opening your new sports equipment has rarely involved this much eye contact with a kaiju.

Built to Play, Too

Manufactured by American pickleball equipment brand AIREO, the paddle is based on its Cyclone 2.0 16mm, a model designed with power and spin in mind. Pickleball One developed the collaboration under Toho’s supervision.

The elongated paddle features a T700 carbon-fiber hitting surface with NanoGraph texture, a PulseFoam core, and a floating foam suspension structure. Its key specifications are:

  • Length: Approximately 16.5 inches (41.9 cm)
  • Width: Approximately 7.5 inches (19.1 cm)
  • Core thickness: 16 mm (0.63 inches)
  • Average weight: Approximately 7.7 oz (218 g), with a tolerance of ±0.15 oz (±4.3 g)
  • Base model: AIREO Cyclone 2.0 16mm
  • Listed model number: 509511

Those figures are based on AIREO’s published specifications for the underlying paddle, with final product labeling subject to its confirmation.

In other words, you can take Godzilla onto the court instead of leaving him on a shelf. Whether you can deliver a shot worthy of the artwork is another matter. The paddle supplies the monster; you supply the ability.

Only 200 in the First Batch

The Godzilla Cyclone launched on October 3, 2026, priced at 44,000 yen, tax included [JP] (approximately US$278). The initial production run consists of just 200 paddles.

Sales are through the Pickleball One Store and the Pickleball One Ginza Shimbashi shop in Tokyo. Online purchases are limited to one per person, while in-store customers can buy up to three.

Unfortunately for overseas fans, sales and delivery are restricted to Japan. So, getting Godzilla into your pickleball bag may require more planning than your next match.
