A Is for Alien: An ABC Book by Little Golden Books

Never mind that the new Alien movie, Alien: Romulus is rated R for “bloody violent content and language” because it would appear that Disney, the new owner of 20th Century Fox and also the Alien franchise, decided that it should start teaching kids about Aliens. How? With a children’s book, of course!

A Is for Alien: An ABC Book by Little Golden Books

Together with Little Golden Books, Disney has launched the A Is for Alien: An ABC Book (ISBN-13: 978-0736444842). This 24-page hardcover book teaches the little ones ABC in Aliens’ context. For example, A is for Alien, and C is for Crew. The book is authored by Charles Gould and illustrated by Joey Chou. Here’s the official description:

“Follow Ripley and the rest of the Nostromo crew on a space adventure that introduces the alphabet from A to Z. With fun illustrations, this light-hearted reimagining of the iconic movie Alien will delight fans young and old, as well as Little Golden Book collectors throught the universe.”

Oh, it is definitely not rated R. The book was announced early this year and officially available last month. If you are keen, you may pick up the A Is for Alien: An ABC Book by Little Golden Books from Amazon.com for just 5.99 USD. There is also a Kindle version going for the same price.
