The sixth and final member of the much anticipated Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece Combiner, MPG-06 Trainbot Kaen [JP], has been announced and is available to order. This G1 action figure features authentic Takara Tomy design and deco inspired by the original cartoon series and comes in its original packaging with Japanese-language instructions.
Like Kaen’s fellow combiners, the MPG-05 Seizan, MPG-04 Suiken, MPG-03 Yukikaze, MPG-02 Getsuei, and MPG-01 Shouki, Kaen has three modes: robot, train car, and combiner modes. Kaen’s alt mode is a DE10 Type diesel locomotive and forms the waist section of the combiner “Raiden”. It comes with a section of the train track, a joint piece, as well as a weapon, a power laser blaster, and a light sword for use with Raiden.
The Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MPG-06 Trainbot Kaen is available for pre-order in Japan for 20,350 yen (tax included) or US$134.99 from Hasbropulse.com, with delivery starting in February 2024.
The toy is also available as a box set that includes flight stands for the individual MPG Raiden figures, a stand for Raiden, and accessories. The Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MPG-06 Trainbot Kaen box set is also available to order for 25,300 yen (about US$177).
