Acer Project DualPlay Gaming Laptop Concept

We have seen many concept laptops in the past but this new one from Acer may just be the concept laptop gamers need. Dubbed Project DualPlay, it is a gaming laptop concept that has detachable game controllers built into it.

Unveiled in Berlin, this Predator concept is all about pushing boundaries and bringing new life to on-the-go gaming. The standout feature? A massive touchpad that doubles as a detachable wireless controller.

With just a quick two-finger tap, this controller pops free from its electromagnetic lock, ready to take on any game. But that’s not all—this move also triggers two 5-watt speakers to pop out from the sides, delivering high-fidelity audio that plunges players right into the action.

Project DualPlay isn’t just about solo gaming, though. It’s designed for multiplayer magic, too. The controller can split into two joysticks, perfect for a fierce battle in games like Street Fighter 6. Switching between keyboard and controller modes is a breeze, letting players easily adapt to different game styles and genres.

Add to this an electrifying 360° dynamic RGB lighting system that wraps around the keyboard, screen bezels, and trackpad, plus a mesmerizing infinity mirror lighting bar on the back, and Project DualPlay doesn’t just play—it puts on a show.
