Acer SFF RTX Spark Mini AI PC
Answering questions is handy, but doing the legwork is what Acer has in mind for its SFF RTX Spark. The compact PC is designed to run personal AI agents locally, with up to 128 GB of unified memory and ambitions beyond being another box on your desk.

There was a time when a PC that played games was just another PC. As games became more complex and demanded more resources, gaming PCs with discrete graphics, better memory, and more powerful processors became a thing. Now, we not only want our PC to be able to be a PC and play graphics- and resource-intensive games, but also want it to pull off AI duties natively. And hence the birth of AI PCs like the new Acer SFF RTX Spark.

Showcased at IFA 2026 this year, the Acer SFF RTX Spark is a compact PC with AI capabilities. Mind you, though. This ain’t just a PC with an AI chatbot baked into it. It is designed to run AI agents that go beyond spitting out responses to your queries; with the appropriate software, tools, and permissions, it can actually do the legwork for you.

It can use tools and carry out tasks you authorize. These may include planning an entire trip, including scheduling, booking flight tickets, hotels, and more. Acer has designed this PC to run AI agents locally and support agentic AI, though it has not confirmed whether ready-to-use AI agent software will come included.

Let’s put it this way: if the Acer SFF RTX Spark had a traditional robot body and the appropriate software, it’d be your real-life Robby the Robot or Andrew Martin. As it stands, though, it cannot do actual manual work.

Designed with creators, AI developers, and gamers in mind, with an emphasis on running personal AI agents locally, this sleek device is built for local AI processing. It is designed to run agentic AI, with Acer highlighting data privacy as a benefit. It supports NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform and suite of RTX technologies. Up to 128 GB of high-speed unified memory supports the hardworking CPU and GPU.

Speaking of processing and graphics power, it boasts up to a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU and up to a 6,144-core NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU. All told, the SFF RTX Spark is designed to deliver up to 1 petaflop of AI performance. Yes. Peta, which means 1,000 times the operations per second of tera.

However exciting this device is, it appears to be a preview of what’s to come. Acer has not specified the storage, ports, dimensions, power consumption, or numerical precision used for its AI performance claim. That said, there’s no pricing either. Acer said availability will be announced at a later date. We don’t know how far away that is yet, but you have the right to be thrilled about the future of computing.
