Last month at the Monterey Car Week, Acura revealed its vision of the electrified era by presenting a fully electric concept SUV called Acura Precision. The Acura Precision EV Concept provides a peek at Acura’s future design language for the marque’s EV and it is gorgeous. It is powered by an undisclosed electrified powertrain but let’s be honest, we are not here for that. We are here because of how it looks.

Acura said the design draws inspiration from luxury Italian power boats. We do not see the connection. All I know is the aesthetic is very Acura. It bears the look and feel of the current Acura cars but in a futuristic form if you get what I mean. It boasts the illuminated evolution of Acura’s Diamond Pentagon Grille, a lit Particle Glitch design motif, rolls on ridiculously large 23-inch wheels that catch the eye as much as the silhouette, and has a flight yoke-style steering wheel that can retract to form the “Spiritual lounge mode”.

In other words, it will have self-driving capability too. But really, there is nothing much to talk about except that it is a beautiful automobile with very clean lines. So clean that it does not have visible door handles. Now, we just have to wait to see how many of the design elements are retained when the vehicle is formerly introduced into the market in 2024.
