In addition to Apple Vision Pro, the iPad Pro is also the proud recipient of the all-new Apple silicon that promises a big leap in AI performance. The new iPad Pro also benefits from faster storage, and of course, the goodness of iPadOS 26 out of the box.

The star of the show is the M5 chip. Apple claims it brings up to 3.5x the AI performance of the M4 iPad Pro and as much as 5.6x over the M1. That means whether you’re generating AI images in Draw Things or video masking in DaVinci Resolve, the new Pro won’t break a sweat.
The 10-core GPU comes with Neural Accelerators in every core, so even the graphics are AI-enhanced now. On the CPU side, Apple is calling it the world’s fastest performance core, backed by a 16-core Neural Engine that makes Apple Intelligence feel less like a beta experiment and more like a feature you might actually use.
It’s not just raw power either. The iPad Pro now has over 150 GB/s of unified memory bandwidth, which helps with multitasking and running massive creative suites. Faster storage speeds, up to 12 GB RAM in base models, Wi-Fi 7, and the new C1X modem for faster 5G round out the upgrades.
The new iPad Pro is available in 11-inch (5.3 mm thin) and 13-inch (5.1 mm thin) models, both rocking the Ultra Retina XDR tandem OLED display. Prices start at US$999 for the 11-inch Wi-Fi model and US$1,299 for the 13-inch Wi-Fi model.
