I overheard somebody talking about Apple has introduced a polishing cloth along with the launch of the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. I was intrigued and immediately dive into Apple.com. Sure enough. There it is, the Apple Polishing Cloth.
But it is not excessively expensive as the person made it out to be. However, at US$19, it is certainly a lot more expensive than most such screen-cleaning clothes. For the same price or much lesser, you could score yourself a screen-cleaning kit. Just saying…
Anywho, US$19 is not about to stop fans from snapping it up. Last checked, the Apple Polishing Cloth is sold out and it won’t be back on the shelves until 2-3 months later.
Made with soft, non-abrasive material, the Apple Polishing Cloth is specifically for cleaning any Apple displays, including the nano-texture glass and recent MacBook Pro equipped with a mini-LED display, as well as iMac and Apple small devices.
And oh, it appears to be the same cloth that Apple has been shipping with the Pro Display XDR. That, I heard from a Chinese TikToker to which I can’t verify. Anywho, if you want one, just be prepared for the wait.
