Aston Martin, together with maker of James Bond film franchise EON Productions, has unveiled the next car for the world’s most famous (fictional) spy, the Aston Martin DB10, for the next James Bond movie Spectre, also marking a relationship spanning half a century between Aston and one of the longest running spy film in Hollywood’s history. And so yes. There will be another Bond flick and yes, it is confirmed that Mr. Bond will indeed be driving an Aston in the show. Unlike previous Bond‘s rides, the DB10 for Spectre is developed by the Gaydon, Warwickshire-based automaker specifically for the film and in addition to that, this sexy fastback sports car is also a glimpse into the future design direction for the British marque.
Though, what goes under the hood is unknown at this point, but fans won’t be left in the cold; this concept turned production car, which is developed and built by the designers, engineers and highly skilled craftspeople at the luxury marque’s Gaydon headquarters, will be available to ten lucky and well-to-do buyers. However, price and exactly when the books will be open for order are not disclosed. As for the movie, James Bond 007 Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes (of Road to Perdition fame, as well as the last Bond movie, Skyfall) and stars Daniel Craig and Ralph Fiennes as the new M, is set to hit the theaters in November 6, 2015.
