ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 Gaming Laptop

ASUS ROG has taken gaming laptop customization to the next level. Amidst the clean and professional look, ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 sports an optional AniMe Matrix on the cover that would allow you to display custom graphics. Yes. It is fancy and has zero impact on the gaming performance, but hell, you can’t deny it is cool as hell (not that actual hell, if exists, is cool even).

The AniMe Matrix occupies half of the cover of the lid, diagonally, and boasts over a thousand mini LEDs. Snazzy, non-gaming performance features aside, this 14-inch is powered by AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile processor (up to Ryzen 7 4800HS) and up NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. It is offered in three 14-inch display options: 120 Hz FHD IPS-level panel, 60 Hz WQHD IPS-level panel and 60 Hz FHD IPS-level panel – all with Adaptive Sync technology.

Other highlights include up to 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory, up to 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD, Intel Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, backlit Chiclet keyboard, power key with fingerprint sensor, 2x 2.5W speakers with Smart AMP technology + 2x 0.7W tweeter, and a host of I/Os that will put any MacBook to shame.

Despite the number of I/Os and what it packed under the hood, the laptop remain ultra thin at 17.9 mm and weighing a reasonable 1.6 kilograms (3.5 lbs). ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 Gaming Laptop was officially revealed at last week’s CES and it will be available starting Q1 2020 with pricing to be advice.
