Some people swear by the sound of vinyl and if you are one of them, you will want to know about the new Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-USB Turntable, a fully automatic, belt-drive turntable that combines the best of both worlds: good’ol vinyl and modern connectivity, which includes Bluetooth wireless, USB and the requisite RCA analog.
Based on the updated AT-LP60X, this turntable features a redesigned tonearm base and head shell to improve tracking and reduce resonance, plus an integrated Dual Moving Magnet cartridge with replaceable stylus “for assured performance and ease of setup.”
The obvious perks here are, the ability to enjoy the awesome vinyl sound through a variety of playback devices, including wireless speakers, headphones, PCs and laptops, home stereos – just to name a few.
Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT-USB Turntable uses CSR BT chipset which will play well with devices that support Qualcomm aptX audio codec, thus allowing you to enjoy improved sound quality.
Other features include 33-1/3 and 45 RPM speeds, convert records to digital audio files, detachable RCA output cable, built-in switchable phono preamp, and it comes with a removable hinged dust cover and an AC adapter that reduces noise by moving AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis.
I think the deal sealer here is the price, which is US$179. But the thing is, it is listed as “out of stock”. Well, that was fast cos’ we just received this in our inbox last week. Not sure what’s happening here.
