most of us knows that Formula One cars are used for one season but do you know what happens to the used Formula One cars. well, what you see here is one example how old cars are being used. in this case, this 1991 McLaren MP4/6 – Ex Ayrton Senna Championship Winning Car S was taken apart and given to artist Jay Burridge by McLaren International sometime in 1991 to create a sculpture out of McLaren cars. the result? the car given was transformed into a life-size model kit that would certainly make any grown man weep with joy.

of course, you wouldn’t want to break it from its ‘mold’ and start piecing them together, and in the process destroy such a beautiful work of art. in any case you want this one-of-the-kind art installation, you can head on to down to Nurburgring, Germany on the August 13 to bid for it but be prepared to shell out anything between €35,000 to €45,000 for it. the Nurburgring auction is organized by UK-based auction house, COYS.
