Bang & Olufsen Beosound A9 Sienna Brown
The Beosound A9 already blurred the line between speaker and designer furniture. Its new Sienna Brown finish pushes that idea further with warm aluminum, tripod legs, and a richly textured Mineral Red Woolscape cover inspired by Sweden’s forests, lakes, and snowy landscapes.

The Beosound A9 has always looked like a speaker and a designer chair agreed to share one body. Now, Bang & Olufsen has introduced the new Beosound A9 Sienna Brown, making the designer-chair half of that arrangement even harder to ignore.

The finish covers the rear dish and aluminum tripod legs, while the front wears a Mineral Red Woolscape cover created by Kvadrat Febrik and Swedish studio Front. Its richly textured, double-knitted fabric was inspired by 3D scans and photographs of Swedish forests, lakes, and snowy landscapes. Nature, it seems, has entered the speaker-cover business.

The A9 is no stranger to changing outfits. It previously wore a wonderfully loud MonoNeon Art of A9 cover, but Sienna Brown prefers sophisticated furniture energy.

Underneath remain seven drivers, 1,500 watts of amplification, and room compensation. It is available now for bank-breaking US$5,100 if anyone’s interested.
