Beats rugged and kickstand cases displayed on iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro in multiple colorways

When Apple bought Beats, it wasn’t just chasing celebrity endorsements or red headphones. It wanted hardware expertise, a music platform, and a brand that could quietly evolve without screaming for attention. Since then, Beats has grown slowly, almost stubbornly, expanding beyond audio into Apple-centric accessories. And now, it is fully committed.

Beats has rolled out a complete lineup of cases for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and even the ultra-thin iPhone Air. This is no side project. It is a full accessory strategy, and it shows. The iPhone Air, for example, gets a single hardshell case with an anti-smudge matte finish. It looks refined and understated, though it does shave off some of that barely-there thinness. Color options include Granite Gray, Bedrock Blue, Limestone, and Pebble Pink, a name that raises questions no one seems eager to answer.

For the rest of the iPhone 17 family, Beats goes bigger. There are three case styles: Rugged Case, Kickstand Case, and a standard hardshell. The Rugged Case is the tank of the lineup, built with a triple-shot construction combining a rigid polymer back, shock-absorbing sidewalls, and reinforced corners. It comes in Everest Black, Rocky Blue, Alpine Gray, and Sierra Orange, the last one conveniently matching the iPhone 17 Pro’s headline color. Half the exterior features a textured matte finish for grip, while the interior is lined with microfiber to keep your phone from looking like it survived a bar fight.

The Kickstand Case adds a functional twist with a lanyard that doubles as a kickstand for hands-free viewing, best suited for landscape mode. The lanyard connects via a magnetic attachment on the side of the case, reducing the risk of accidental drops. Like the Rugged Case, it features a hardshell back, shock-absorbing sides, a matte exterior, and microfiber lining. MagSafe and Camera Control support are fully intact. Color options mirror the iPhone Air lineup.

Finally, the standard case keeps things simple with a durable double-shot build, matte finish, and microfiber interior. It offers everyday protection while maintaining full MagSafe and Camera Control compatibility.

All three Beats cases are available for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Pricing starts at US$45 for the standard case, US$59 for the Kickstand Case, and US$79 for the Rugged Case. Not exactly cheap, but then again, this is Beats. And honestly, that orange Rugged Case is doing things. You can check out all the Beats iPhone 17 cases HERE.
