If you did not already heard, Samsung has quietly revealed a pair of A series smartphones last week in Vietnam. The duo, the Galaxy A71 and A51 smartphones, may not be flagship devices, but they could be hints of what’s to come for the upcoming Galaxy S11 devices with respect to the camera module.
For the longest time, Samsung has been consistence with the camera array, be it one, two or multiple cameras and that is, a single horizontal or vertical arrangement. Not with the A71 and A51, though. These devices are rocking a rectangular camera bump that packs four camera units in a L-shaped pattern.
The Galaxy S11 is rumored to sport the rectangular module, but the actual layout of the cameras is not known. So, could the S11 rock the same L shape layout? Probably. Anyways, here’s a rundown of the key specifications of the two devices:
- Samsung Galaxy A71:

Non-fan of curved display will appreciate the displays on these devices. Plus, they are mid-rangers and therefore, they will be easier on your wallet for sure. Speaking of which, we heard that the Samsung Galaxy A51 will see initial launch in Vietnam on December 27 where it will cost about $350.
Samsung Galaxy A71, on the other hand, availability and pricing are to be advised. No words if the duo will be making their way outside of Vietnam.
