In a world where power banks are getting thinner, Xiaomi’s gaming brand, Black Shark, came up with this: Black Shark 10,000 mAh Power Bank. Sharing the same “X” design language of the gaming smartphone, the Black Shark power bank sports a unique armored shall design with silver protective coating.
The Black Shark 10,000 mAh Power Bank is chunky, but at the same time, you can’t deny it is one hell of a futuristic-looking power bank. And the good look (OK, that’s debatable) is complemented by a meaty 10,000 mAh of power.
It has a total of three ports: 2 USB-A ports and a USB-C port that pumps out a total of 18 W. The Type-C port supports both input and output charging, and the power bank is able to charge via multiple protocols, including PD, QC 2.0, QC 3.0, Apple, and more.
The power bank also supports low-current device charging too. All it takes is double-tapping the button and it can safely charge Bluetooth headsets, smartwatches or similar gadgets.
Finally, it comes standard with a host of safety features, including but not limited to, temperature monitoring, overcharge and deep-discharge protection, dual short circuit protection, overheat protection, under voltage protection, over current protection, et cetera.
Black Shark said the device is tested to withstand a wide range of humidity conditions and have been salt spray tested too.
Unfortunately though, as rad as the device is, Black Shark 10,000 mAh Power Bank is limited to select countries and the U.S. and Canada are not one of them. Most countries in Europe will be able purchase it on eu.blackshark.com for €32.90.
