Looking for a sound bar with an assured sound quality? Well then, you most likely won’t go wrong with Bose. The American audio equipment maker has a new soundbar, the Bose Smart Soundbar 300, that promised to deliver spacious sound, clear dialogue and rich bass, at a relatively non-bank-breaking price.

Key features include built-in voice assistants support (Google Assistant and Alexa built-in), exclusive Bose Voice4Video technology for control beyond the soundbar, Bose SimpleSync for pairing with compatible Bose products (such as headphones), custom software that automatically detects what you are playing and optimize the audio output, optical and HDMI connectivity, app-enabled for ease of set-up, and WiFi, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect compatibility.

As always, Bose did not disclose the innards in writing, but from the cutaway, it shows that it is outfitted with 4 full-range drivers, a center tweeter and QuietPort for smoother low frequency.

All these is packed in a package that measures 2 1/4 inches tall, 27 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches deep (5.72 x 69.9 x 10.2 cm). The height matters, a lot, if you have a low standing TV like I do. Think this may be it for me. I think. My wallet may not concur.
