You’re not seeing things, my friends—CaDA has another officially licensed Mazda 787B building set, and this time, it’s gone big. If the 1:24 scale felt a little puny, the CaDA 1:10 Scale Mazda 787B (C63007) should do the trick. Why? Simple: more parts, more details. And it’s Technic-style, too.

This beast uses 1,797 elements to recreate the sister car to the legendary #55 Mazda 787B that took Le Mans by storm in 1991. We’re talking opening scissor-style doors, a lift-up engine cover (which is technically the trunk—but hey, mid-mounted engines mess with labels), a faithful replica of the headlights and spoiler, a working steering wheel, independent suspension, and wheels that match the real deal—at least in the front.
Here’s something that’ll make decal-haters cheer: there are zero stickers. Every graphic is printed directly on the pieces. Yes, CaDA, thank you for that.
When fully assembled, it measures 50.4 cm long, 23.1 cm wide, and 11.4 cm tall (that’s nearly 20 inches long for our imperial unit friends). It’s a tad smaller than a 1/8 scale build, but still seriously impressive. Half a meter of racecar glory, folks.
Now, if remote control isn’t your thing, relax—motorization is optional. For those who do want to drive it around, there’s an upgrade kit with CaDA’s iconic remote, complete with a mini steering wheel. The engine even moves as the car rolls. Sadly, the 2.6L R26B quad-rotor’s magic couldn’t be fully captured due to the scale. Bummer. Still cool, though. If you could have molded tiny rotors, it would be wonderful. Just saying…
The CaDA 1:10 Mazda 787B is currently available in China via Tmall for 499 yuan [CH] (about USD 69). International fans, hang tight. Steal a few more looks after the break.
