CaDA, China’s brick-built toymaker, is having a blast with officially licensed products designed by renowned MOC artists. This time, CaDA has teamed up with Europe’s biggest farming equipment maker CLAAS, and LEGO artist and MOC extraordinaire Bricksley to release an officially license, brick-built model of the new CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC TS farming tractor.
The CaDA CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC TS C65012 Building Set [CH] uses 1,336 elements to let you build a 1:32 replica of the real-life farm machine, featuring an incredible level of detail and movable parts. The iconic triangle track system has been faithfully recreated using Technic-style elements, right down to the idlers, the drive sprocket, the roller, and the suspension. Very impressive.
The completed model features four-track steering just like its life-size counterpart, along with side mirrors, operation warning lights, a raising hitch, and a working plowing attachment with functional transit wheels that deploy when the plow is stowed away.
The CaDA CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC TS C65012 Building Set was officially launched in China last week with an MSRP of 449 yuan (about US$63). It has yet to be listed on the CaDA global web store but should be soon since the designer himself has shared the news on his Facebook page.
[UPDATE January 05, 2024, PT] The CaDA CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC TS C65012 Building Set is now listed on the CaDA international online store for US$89.99.Images: CaDA.
