A LEGO MOC Godzilla is impressive and deserving to be an official LEGO set but somehow, its nemesis, the infamous Megagodzilla seems more appropriate as a LEGO set because of its mecha nature. I am not talking about Hollywood’s Monsterverse version, btw. Am talking about the original Japanese version that we have seen so many times as toys and model kits.
One uber-talented LEGO artist who goes by the handle DeRa (@dera_0503) on Instagram has created a LEGO MOC of the famed Megagodzilla from the film Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla and it is so realistic that it looked like it has stepped out of the movie. A LEGO MOC that looks like it was lifted out from a frame in a movie is no small feat.
Unfortunately, we have little to no information to go with. I don’t believe DeRa ever says anything more than the title of the build for all of the builds. There is also no information if you can buy the instructions for it either. But I guess such is life. Sometimes we don’t get everything we want.
