Lacoste is a grand 93 years old, and there is a reason why it has survived to this day and continues to grow. It adapts. It stays relevant by seeing pop culture as an opportunity for growth while also adapting to changing lifestyle needs.

Speaking of which, cafés are certainly a thing in modern lifestyle, and so here we are, witnessing the birth of Café Lacoste. You heard that right. Lacoste now has a café. And you know what? It kind of makes sense. Fashion is lifestyle, and so is sipping afternoon tea or coffee while snacking on carefully crafted pastries. Better still, it lets you do all that in what may very well be the most vogue way possible: the health-conscious way.
Following the success of its Monaco pop-up, Lacoste has officially opened its first permanent Café Lacoste in Paris on Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt, just steps away from the brand’s flagship store.
Created in partnership with the Giraudi Group, the 100-square-meter (1,076-square-foot) café blends the brand’s familiar aesthetic with hospitality. Expect deep green tones, terracotta accents, tennis-inspired lines, and enough crocodile branding to remind you that you are still very much inside the Lacoste universe.
The menu, overseen by chef Thierry Paludetto, includes club sandwiches, salads, seasonal dishes, specialty coffee, creative lattes, and signature desserts called Polo Cakes, which sounds suspiciously like a dessert created for Instagram, because it is literally in the shape of a neatly folded Polo tee. It’s adorable.
There is even a signature beverage called L’Eau de Croco, which literally translates to “Crocodile Water”, made with coconut water, matcha, and ginger, which I am sure isn’t just Instagram-ready, but also health nuts-approved.
Café Lacoste also doubles as a concept store selling exclusive food products, porcelain tableware, and textile items, because it looks like leaving with a full stomach was not only part of the plan. Lacoste thinks your shopping bags need filling up, too.
Anyhoo, if you are in and around Paris, and interested in checking out the croc cafe, it is located at 16 Av. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 75008 Paris, France. Meanwhile, you may also check out the menu here (PDF)
