despite the emergence of electrical vehicle, there’s little focus on it’s associated accessories such as the electrical vehicle charger. here, in this post, are products that address the charging outlet aspect of the growing electrical vehicle trend. Blink, a brand name under the NASDAQ-listed ECOtality, has a series of charger for both residential and commercial applications. currently, Blink has two types of level 2 charger and one type of level 3 charger. so what does the level means? basically, level 2 is the standard charging method (240 volt AC input), while level 3 is the fast charging (480 volt 3-phase AC input) method which is capable of providing a full charge in under 30 minutes*. however, the DC fast charging is only for EV that has fast-charge connector built-in. Johnson Controls, a former supplier to the auto industry, has moved forward in the supply chain by unveiling its ie:3 concept car at the North American International Auto Show. not surprisingly, it is an electric vehicle and is slated to see production by 2015. though not any time sooner, at least it is not just another concept that wows but slowly fades off into the obscurity. the world have seen many amazing concept yacht but nothing like this 155-meter “The Streets of Monaco” luxury superyacht that has a fully functional Go-Kart circuit. the boat, designed in resemblance of a section of the principality of Monaco, most notable for its Formula One city race track and the Monaco Yacht Show, looks almost like part of Monaco has been torn off and floated out into the open sea. the Streets of Monaco was designed by Yacht Island Design in collaboration with BMT Nigel Gee. a supercar from Russia is something we never thought of but here it is from Russia with love, is the MaRussia B2. in a time where sports car are going electric, MaRussia chose to to go ‘old school’ with the good old petrol engine. the edgy front end and bulging sides gives the car a menacing look and might not appeal to everyone. it kind of looks like a supercar made for Darth Vader, isn’t it? carriage of the future looks a little too TRON-ish

concept vehicles are not new but the XSCAPE, designed by Shengjie Wang, looks like an early century horse carriage instead of some flashy, sports car. designed with flexibility in mind, this narrow vehicle is prep for the dense concrete jungle of the future. when exactly? we are not quite sure. the generous use of blue lights in and around the vehicle plus the hub-less, skinny wheels (with lights, of course), tells us that the XSCAPE is TRON-inspired.
