Never mind the controversies surrounding American aircraft manufacturer Boeing because Pantasy has a brick-built model Boeing airliner for aerospace and aviation buffs to add to their collection. The China Southern Airlines Boeing 787 Commemorative Aviation Model (11022), as it is called, is not Pantasy’s first Boeing model and it is most certainly not the first passenger jet but this model is of significance because it is based on the particular China Southern Airlines’ passenger jet in service which is the 787th Boeing 787-9.
It is officially licensed by CS Air complete with the airline’s liveries “dreams of “wings of a dream”. We are not 100% sure if it is licensed by Boeing as well. However, we noticed that it does have the GE logo on the turbine. So it is presumably licensed by GE as well? Maybe? I don’t know.
The details extend to the interior, including 3 rows of airline seats, and a cockpit with space one figure. The 2,000-piece China Southern Airlines Boeing 787 Commemorative Aviation Model (11022) [CH] is not just a buildable 787-9 model with a buildable flight stand; it also includes a large, buildable GE GEnx-1B complete with Technic-stand based buildable service stand/hoist. The cover on either side of the engine opens up to reveal the intricate internals of the turbine. Finally, the set also includes a CS Air stair truck and 5 mini-figures.
The China Southern Airlines Boeing 787 Commemorative Aviation Model (11022) is available in China from the Chinese TikTok (Douyin) store for 799 yuan (or around US$111).
