I have never noticed if watches exist in the Star Wars universe. If they do exist, I imagine they would look like the Citizen x Star Wars Rebel Pilot & Trench Run Watches.
The duo is not the first; Citizen has a bunch of Star Wars-themed watches, but for some reasons, the Citizen x Star Wars Rebel Pilot & Trench Run Watches feels more appropriate.
Part of the reasons could be they are based on the Ana-Digi Temp, Citizen Analog-Digital watch from the 80s aka the era of Star Wars. Another reason is, the Ana-Digi Temp is futuristic like Star Wars is. It has the futuristic vibe today as it was in the 1980s.
Those combine with the appropriate Star Wars motifs, result in very appropriate timepieces worthy of any collector’s vault.
The watches won’t make you a Rebel pilot nor will it help you navigate the trenches leading to the most ridiculous weakness of Death Star, but they do look extremely cool.
Speaking of Death Star… the watches expressed the two factions during the final moment of A New Hope.
The Citizen x Star Wars Rebel Pilot’s stainless steel construction is decorated with emblem of the Rebel Alliance along with graphics that pay homage to the pilot’s suit and the X-Wing cockpit.
Meanwhile the Citizen x Star Wars Trench Run recreates the cockpit of the TIE fighters that fiercely protects the infamous exhaust port from the swarming, but surely dwindling X-Wing fighters.
If you are, then you may want to pick up Citizen x Star Wars Rebel Pilot & Trench Run Watches from Citizenwatch.com.
The duo are what we got in the U.S. Back in Japan, there are other selections of Ana-Digi Temp Star Wars watches, including models inspired by R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, BB-8, Boba Fett, and Stormtrooper.
