honestly, Philips was never the brand that i will associate with audiophile equipment or music gear but here it is, the Philips Fidelio L1 Headphones, a pair of high-end music cans to please discerning and stylish listeners. call me superficial but this is one Philips cans that i actually think it is sleek. the cans feature 40-mm vented neodymium drivers that offers deep bass and strong mids, sleek aluminum construction that cuts vibrations, and a luxurious combo of memory foam and stitched premium leather for its headband. the headphones comes with an inline cable remote control and microphone for use with your iDevices, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a storage pouch to stow away this classy gear when not in use. a 6.3mm audio jack is available for use with HiFi. i hardly think the latter will be necessary cos’ a pair of cans looking this good is meant to be flaunt. isn’t it so? being ‘high-end’ means it won’t come cheap, so if you want your hands on one of these, then be prepared to shell out €250 or US$279.54 for a pair.
