If you have not already heard, there is a new kind of in-ear headphone driver in the market. The xMEMS drivers, as they are called, are solid-state semiconductor Micro-Electromechanical System (MEMS) speakers. It uses moving and non-moving electronics, along with moving mechanical parts to produce sound. The Creative Aurvana Ace Series is among the first TWS to use this new type of driver.
The Creative Aurvana Ace and Creative Aurvana Ace 2 are the latest additions to Creative Technology’s true wireless earbuds lineup. These earbuds feature groundbreaking solid-state, all-silicon MEMS-based drivers, offering a wide frequency response from 5 Hz to 40 KHz. This technology ensures an immersive and lifelike audio experience for music, movies, or calls.
Both models come with LE Audio, including the LC3 codec, Bluetooth 5.3, and Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) plus Ambient Mode. They boast up to 24 hours of total playtime, making them ideal for audio enthusiasts seeking high-quality wireless earbuds.
The earbuds are powered by xMEMS drivers, providing a natural and lifelike sound experience. The drivers feature tiny flaps on silicon chips, creating sound waves that mimic natural hearing. The dual-driver system in the Aurvana Ace series combines xMEMS technology with custom-tuned 10 mm dynamic drivers, delivering crisp highs, rich bass, and dynamic treble.
Additional features include six microphones with Qualcomm cVc noise cancellation technology for clear calls, IPX5 sweatproof certification, and support for multiple audio codecs like LE Audio, SBC, AAC, AptX, and AptX Adaptive.
The Aurvana Ace features a sleek matte black finish with copper highlights, while the Aurvana Ace 2 has a smoked translucent design with copper accents. The Ace 2 also offers Qualcomm Adaptive ANC and the latest Qualcomm aptX Lossless codec, delivering lossless, high-fidelity audio at 16-bit/44.1 kHz.
Both models promise a superior audio experience, with the Ace 2 specifically catering to diverse listening environments with its adaptive noise cancellation and lossless audio capabilities.
The Creative Aurvana Ace Series xMEMS TWS Earbuds, which were launched last November, are available now for US$129.99 and US$149.99 for the Creative Aurvana Ace and Creative Aurvana Ace 2.
