dbrand Aperture Vision Pro Cover

You know how to tell if someone is a hardcore Apple fan? The Apple Vision Pro. That overpriced piece of j… I mean, gadget isn’t for everyone. But if you’ve got one and are still proudly strapping it to your face (good for you!), then you might want to spruce it up with this new cover from dbrand.

This might just be the ugliest thing to ever roll out of dbrand’s door—and yet I can’t take my eyes off it. Designed by Kyle Goodrich, a California-based design engineer and 3D artist, the Aperture Apple Vision Pro cover is here to haunt your dreams. It’s weirdly sophisticated, even though its “holey” design is a borderline trypophobic nightmare.

Thankfully, the holes aren’t uniform, or I’d have goosebumps all over my body. Oh, and if trypophobics feel like pushing their limits, there’s an optional matching battery holster with the same unsettling pattern.

But don’t worry—those holes aren’t just for show. The cutouts are strategically placed to avoid blocking the sensors and turning your $3,500 headset into a high-tech paperweight. Plus, this thing is surprisingly sleek. It’s a single-piece injection-molded creation made from high-durometer polyurethane, complete with a debossed signature from Goodrich himself. Classy!

The Aperture adds protection without unnecessary bulk and is available now from dbrand.com for US$49 for the cover alone, or US$69 for the cover plus the battery holster. Last I checked, the cover was sold out, but the combo is still up for grabs. It comes in black and orange.

Man, why am I so drawn to this? I don’t even own an AVP. It must be the orange… or maybe those strangely alluring holes that somehow don’t trigger goosebumps.
