It kinda feels like the DJI team convenes regularly to explore where they have not had their hands on. I mean, how else do you explain the imaging drone maker having almost every aspect of action cam covered, from regular GoPro-style cams to 360 cams to handhelds? And now, it has Insta360 in its sights with the new DJI Osmo Nano Hands-free Wearable Camera.

The Osmo Nano is DJI’s smallest action cam yet, weighing just 52 g and measuring 57 × 29 × 28 mm. Thanks to its dual-sided magnetic design, you can slap it on hats, helmets, collars, or even your dog (not recommended for zoomies). It is waterproof up to 10 m without housing, and when paired with the Multifunctional Vision Dock, it gains IPX4 splash resistance too.
Inside is where it really flexes. The Nano uses a next-gen 1/1.3-inch sensor with up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range, shooting crisp 4K/60 fps or silky 4K/120 fps slow-mo. You also get a 143° ultra-wide FOV, 10-bit D-Log M color, SuperNight mode for low light, HorizonBalancing, and RockSteady 3.0 stabilization. Basically, pro-level footage without strapping a brick to your head.
The dock isn’t just a charger; it’s a display, file transfer hub, and remote trigger, charging the camera to 80% in 20 minutes. Add in dual mics with DJI OsmoAudio, gesture controls, auto recording, and even Pre-Rec so you don’t miss the moment before you hit record.
The DJI Osmo Nano starts at €279 for the Standard Combo (64 GB) and €309 for the 128 GB version. Last checked, it has not been officially available in the U.S. yet. But the product page is live on DJI’s US website.
