luxury isn’t always about dollars and cents. it is about evoking emotion and not bound by the price tag, well, at least that’s what a young startup Domeni Co thinks and the Domenico Wrist Watch is the watch that’s going proves that luxurious style need not to be bank breaking, or even anywhere close to breaking your bank. we can’t be posting everything being pitched, but we have to be honest with you: the Domenico Wrist Watch’s minimalist approach really had out attention. so who or what the heck is Domeni Co and Domenico wrist watch? while most kids doodled cars, heroes and monsters, the man behind Domeni Co, Dominick Cullari, had already sketching watches and it was from there, he found he has this thing for timepieces.
fast forward to today, he finally made the bold move, taking his childhood doodles and make it a reality. the result is the Domenico Wrist Watch you see here. it features a recessed dial face with sloped circumference where you will find minimalist time scale markings. the dial face is completely void of clutter. it has a super clean look with only three hands: hour and minute, and a sub-dial with the second hand. made of 316L stainless steel for elegance and durability, this 40mm case diameter watch is paired to choice of 18mm Milanese Mesh or Premium Leather strap. driving the clockwork is a gold-plated Swiss-made Ronda 1069 six-jewel movement and it is water resistance up to 5ATM or about 50 meters (about 164 feet).
Dominic has taken this bold endeavor to Kickstarter, seeking for around $22,000 in financial backing to take Domenico Wrist Watch to production. if you love what you see, you can show your love by pre-ordering a piece for as low as $135 in gold, silver or black and with a choice of Milanese Mesh bracelet or Premium Leather strap. however, do note that, 135 bucks is the early bird price, which is limited to 50 pieces in each finish. if you miss the boat, you will have to fork out $165 or more. scroll down for a pitch video to learn more.
