Dr. Martens x BAPE 1460 Remastered Boots

Dr. Martens. The brand that I never knew until British pop group, Bros, came along in the 80s. It was the kicks that got custom before custom sneakers became a thing. It has been 60 years since the 73 year-old shoe maker rolled out the iconic 1460 boots. Celebrating 1460’s 60 years this year, Dr. Martens is going on a collaboration spree – one for each month of the year.

The Dr. Martens x BAPE 1460 Remastered Boots is the first of the 12 collabs planned. Dr. Martens x BAPE 1460 Remastered Boots features A Bathing Ape’s signature camo print with the BAPE STA logo that is usually found on the Japanese clothing brand’s sneakers.

A Bathing Ape’s logo can be found on the insole as well as on the heel label along side a Dr. Martens’ branded heel pull. Finally, each pair of Dr. Martens x BAPE 1460 Remastered Boots will come with a BAPE dog tag.

A very limited numbers of the Dr. Martens x BAPE 1460 Remastered Boots will be available on January 25 from DrMartens.com and select partners. Following that, a new collab will drop each month throughout 2020.

Pricing is not known at this point and also, we are not sure just how limited is “very limited numbers.” Since the numbers is not known and if you really had to have this BAPE touched Dr. Martens, then you may want to get yourself signed up to be notified when this one-off collaboration lands.
